A Passion for Healing!

I grew up in the Netherlands where I was often found with my nose in medical encyclopedias and where, as a teenager I longed to become a surgeon.

I studied Fine Art instead and for 5 years I observed and painted the human body. It was during those years that I began to 'see' colour and light around my models. I became aware of the aura that surrounded them. My study in Colour Therapy gave me an in depth insight into the relationship between colour and the human body.

I moved to the Findhorn Community in Scotland where I trained in Aromatherapy and Massage. My 16 years there have enriched my life with a deep sense of meaning, purpose, spiritual values, global consciousness and given me extensive and invaluable experience in working with individuals and groups from all over the planet.

I graduated from a 4-year training with Barbara Brennan, a well known healer and teacher of healing at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing in the US, where all my previous learning became more integrated and synthesized and where I was taught a Map of Consciousness that I continue to work with that is solid in its structure, full of common sense and yet rich in its multidimensional approach to the Healing Journey of each individual, which makes yours, mine and the healing of our planet a real possibility.

Whether you are on a journey of personal transformation, self-discovery, longing to find meaning and purpose, or if you have serious medical problems, Brennan Healing Science(BHS) techniques can be considered effective healing tools.

As a BHS Healer I have knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the physical body. I am trained in Integrative Care, which deals with specific diseases and their treatments. My training has included working with eating disorders, diabetes, heart disease and cancer. I have been taught an energy healing protocol for dealing with clients going through chemotherapy. Brennan Healing Science is considered complimentary medicine; respecting, including and integrating all other medical and healing traditions.
