I had a healing with Maria when she was a second year student. This was a really interesting experience. I was hugely impressed by her ability to be present with me and amazed that apparently simple hands-on work had such a big effect on my life. As a result I went on to go to the Barbara Brennan Healing school.

I had never been to a healer before and with some intrepidation I went to Maria. I knew my problem was not anything the Doctor had time for, but I felt I was stuck in an unhappy place which I knew was not doing me any good. I very fortunatly landed on my feet when I found Maria. She quietly listened to me and my body and gently encouraged a balancing of my energy. She said little but what she did say was very clear and to the point, she helped me refocus my attention in a posative direction, which has greatly helped me reconnect with a happier more creative way of life.

Whenever I think there is no way through, out, or around, there is…. Maria meets me right where I am and brings light to that place. Her ability to pinpoint the essence of the matter cuts a clear path through the stories I have got lost in, enabling me to see my beliefs and judgments for what they are. Through the trust I find in her reassuring, gentle and steadfast presence, the parts of myself I had held separate and hidden are welcomed back and nurtured. Liabilities become assets, weaknesses become strengths. New horizons roll open where previously I had laid my limit. I’m so grateful to Maria for the work we continue to do together and would recommend her to anyone and everyone.

Hands of light is a book I have owned for many years but Maria brought it to life for me. I went to see Maria for a number of reasons and she made me feel welcome and safe enough to explore aspects of myself I find hard to deal with alone. I have recommended her to several people and know that for some she has transformed key aspects in their lives...I continue to recommend her.

On my first visit to Maria I was having recurring headaches which often led to severe migraines. I had tried many other therapies without success. After a few healing sessions I was free from suffering and now my quality of life is incredible. My feeling of well being is wonderful and I can now enjoy everyday.

The first session I had with Maria, I walked in with labyrinthitis, an inner ear infection for which orthodox medicine has no cure, and walked out without it. Since then I have enjoyed many healing massages, and observed the tension in my body recede.

I have had several sessions with Maria and she has helped me explore myself in a new way. The outcome has lead to me understanding myself much better and I have been able to move beyond some negative patterns that I had created for myself. I worked with Maria for a period of 6 months or so. What I remember very well was the intensity of the silence where Maria held me, so that I could experience deeply the emotional charges lying behind the presenting issue of the session.

Having read some of Barbara Brennan's work, and tried various healing modalities, I located Maria as my nearest practioner. Her approach and help I have found invaluable in making sense of what had/was happening to me, and I have passed her details onto a number of people.
